That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us. 2 Tim. 1:14 KJV
Everything of value attracts envy. It is about this that the Lord God commanded and warned against covetousness. According to the Bible, The Lord says, “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.” Exo. 20:17 KJV. It is the tendency for envy, covetousness, etc. that drives theft, corruption, and such vices fueled by greed. It is upon and about this that the caution to keep, insure and secure personal or Business properties become acutely necessary.
Security cost for secure personal or business properties has not only therefore become a standard and recurring expense but one that forms a large percentage of overall personal and business expenses. Somebody somewhere and sometime is seeking, attempting or has in fact taken possession of what belongs to someone else. This is theft and it is against God’s design for our life. Please, avoid it.
Like how our physical goods and properties are at risk of being stolen, lost, or destroyed; spiritual virtues, blessings and fortunes are open to theft, loss or destruction. The Lord Jesus informed and indeed warmed us of a spiritual thief who goes about seeking to steal, kill and destroy. The Bible says, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:..” (John 10:10 KJV). It is about this thief, that you and I are sternly warned, cautioned, alerted and must be properly kitted, geared, and watchful to prevent our spiritual fortunes from being plundered, wasted, polluted, or destroyed. Saints be warned! But thank God there is God’s provision for the security and preservation of the spiritual fortune of Saints. Thank God for the Holy Spirit.
Beloved, what we are up against is not flesh and blood, for anyone to so construe life’s course and event, is a deceptive ploy by this same thief to distract attention from himself to take advantage and plunder such one’s fortune. Don’t be deceived beloved…but thank God who has graciously bestowed on us (saints) the blessings of HIS SPIRIT – The Holy Spirit,
Apostle wrote to Timothy and by extension you and I; That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us. 2 Tim. 1:14 KJV. Let’s take charge of the Grace of God upon our lives by the Holy Spirit. None shall suffer disgrace in Jesus Name.
