If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. (Mal. 2:2 KJV)
The oil that marinates and prevent friction in any relationship is good understanding of what the parties expects, demands, and frowns at. The notice and comprehension of the respective parties’ preferences and dislikes helps growth, health, and longevity of the relationship.
In relation to our fellowship and walk with God, the Bible hinted of a profoundly important factor to gain health and wellness as we “interact” with God when the Bible says, “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.” (Heb. 12:28-29 KJV). The Bible highlights an important note of caution about the Kingdom (of God) we received or are brought into at the salvation we obtained through Jesus Christ. Yes, the salvation of our souls is a precious and invaluable proof of God’s love and concern for us. God went great length, to overlook past sins and rebellion against His law and Himself, He assumed the debt we owed because of sin, even death; He paid the price and offered us justification through Faith delivered by Grace. This is a proof of God’s magnificent grace, kindness, and mercy for which we must ever the thankful.
Now, being admitted into the glorious Kingdom of the Eminent King, the Bible warns of the immutability and the regiment of this Kingdom; it describes it as “a kingdom which cannot be moved” noting how fixed and unalterable the principles and governance of the Kingdom. Since nothing about the Kingdom may be moved, waived, adjusted or altered for favor or preference; grace for compliance is the only available option to gain acceptability with the King.
Beloved, this is a very important notice about the Kingdom of God. We must “have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.”. The salvation of God does not preclude compliance with Kingdom demands and any violation or desecration may have devastating consequences For our God is a consuming fire Consider what God says here; “If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.” (Mal. 2:2 KJV). In God’s Kingdom no one must arrogate or ascribe what belongs to God to self, someone or something…please let’s BEWARE.!!!
