In his hand are the deep places of the earth: The strength of the hills is his also. Psalm 95:4
We thank God for the blessings of His great benevolence and emoluments that enrich, nourish, and replenish Man’s ordained Habitat – The Earth. About ordained habitats, the Bible says, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.” Psalm 115:26. KJV. Notice; “…the earth hath he given to the children of men”. God gave the Earth and its content to Man.
The decision to make Man was both deliberate and intentional, Man was not a product of impulse or erratic thought, ahead of Man’s creation; the nature (of Man) and intent (Purpose) were clearly defined. How Man would look as in design and what Man would do as in purpose were pre-determined and clearly stated. Consider what the Bible scripts about the creation of Man; “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Gen. 1:26 KJV. What a glory and a blessing that lie beneath the coming and creation of Man.
Ahead of Man’s creation, was an Earth fully created and formed; notice Man was created to “…have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” but Man was not present when God created the Earth.
God queried Man (Job) when He said, “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone while the morning stars sang together and all the angels[a] shouted for joy? “Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness, when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place, when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt’?… Tell me if you know all this. (Job 38: 4-18 NIV)
Beloved, it is good reasoning (therefore) on the part of every man who seeks good and fortune of the Earth to trust and rely on God who knows where what is on the Earth; to guide our hands and effort aright to derive and deliver the profits of Earth into our lives and prospers our pursuit, for… In his hand are the deep places of the earth: The strength of the hills is his also. Be WISE, therefore.
