Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? (Lam. 3:37 KJV)
The proof of Power is effect. Power always brings change. This is the quality, evidence, mark, and indication of God’s Power. All things are subject, impacted, compelled, and governed by the Power of God. It is this very purpose that makes God has the final say in all things. Nothing holds value until God speaks.
The notice and understanding of the irrefutable eminence of God’s Power must motivates every Man to rely, trust and wait on Him as God’s enemies also always would submit to God at the instance of God’s Power. The mark and attribute of God’s Power is the fact that all things are subject to God’s command.
Consider the eulogy of the Scriptures about the Sea at its encounter with Power of the God of Heaven, “When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. The sea saw it and fled: Jordan was driven back. The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs? Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.” Psalm 114:1-8 KJV.
The Word reveals the Power of God. The Bible puts it thus, “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high” (Heb. 1:1-3 KJV). Notice that God “…upholding all things by the word of his power” in essence subject, control, direct, and influence all things by the word of his power.
Beloved, has God said anything, do not doubt it; it will surely come to pass and if there is a situation that’s either disturbing, concerning or confusing; wait on God or allow God to speak concerning that situation. Whatever God says about the matter is what matters.
