Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Psalm 133:1 (KJV)
The Bible is the Covenant Book of God’s Kingdom: a compendium of God’s thoughts, precepts and guidelines for the Kingdom citizens. Akin to the Constitution of Nations and Countries in our contemporary World, the Bible is succinctly organized by the Holy Spirit (its Author) to provide treatise to warrants Kingdom Citizen’s rights, privileges, and entitlements. It is therefore hugely detrimental to spiritual health and wellness of the Saints to be ignorant, ill-informed, or totally eye-closed to the provisions and composition of the Scriptures, The Bible.
About the contents of the Bible, the aged and astute Apostle wrote to Timothy, his protégé in the Faith when he said, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” (1 Tim. 3:16-17 KJV). This is an eminent introduction and referral about the Holy Bible that must stimulate our curiosity and interest to explore and extrapolate its deliveries to our glorious advantage of being made… be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Understanding the contents of the Holy Bible therefore provides an highway to a glorious and predictable destination if we cherish and hold dear, precious and priceless its notices and doctrines.
Consider for a moment, the lavished proclamation of the Bible about the scrupulous benefit of brethren dwelling together in unity. If married couples, family units, Church members, Cities and Towns to Nations and Countries will dare to assume, assimilate, adopt, adapt, implement the traits and truth espoused by this “line” of truth from the Bible will derive and enjoy the emoluments it promised.
It is utter and wanton dimness of understanding or clear lack it to promote, incite and engage in dis-uniting practices among couples, families, siblings, Communities and Nations as the disastrous consequences of such practices is unquantifiable and indeterminable.
Beloved, let us follow such things as promote peace and unity. It is to this end we are called in Christ Jesus; unto “…the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and from, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:” (Eph. 4:13-15 KJV). Let us dwell together in UNITY.
