“And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak (Mark.7:37 KJV)
“He hath done all things well:… “ was the epitaph of Jesus’ Life and Ministry, yet He was a Man who was hungry as others, tempted as others, challenged as others, etc. but had a unique result in all life’ course unlike others that Men marveled and said of Him; “What manner of man is this…” (Matt. 8:27).
It is keen and ardent to our good course and profit to study the Life and Ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ; locate and identify what raised Him above the threshold of other Men, that ubiquitous and pervasive feature of His relation and interaction that extracted Him from common and ordinary Men. What must I have (or not have) to become like Jesus and attain His conquest.
Beloved, that unique feature of our Lord Jesus Christ in no other Man is Light! About our Lord Jesus Christ, the Bible said, “In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not… the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” (John 1:4-9). Light was the distinctive feature latent and dominant in and about Him. On one occasion; He motioned; “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John. 8:12)
Beloved, every Man needs that Light inherent in the Lord Jesus Name, he called it; “Light of life”; Let us take some time and contemplate that sentence and examine if we have it or not – the Light of Life. There is so much darkness in our World that people “stumble” at noonday and grope in daylight as if its night.
Quit and come out of this dark tunnel of “life” without Light rather take hold of the Light of Life, it is this Light of Life that makes our lives glow and relationship with God possible. That Light is the Word of God codified and delivered in the Holy Bible. Let’s sit and settle with it – It will lighten the life we love to live.
